Background: The Statute Law Committee, or the Code Reviser, acting with committee approval, makes recommendations and submits legislation to the Legislature concerning deficiencies, conflicts, and obsolete provisions in the statutes.

In the event that during a session of the Legislature, two bills are passed that amend the same section of the code without reference to one another, the Code Reviser, in consultation with the Statute Law Committee, may merge all amendments that do not conflict and publish the section of the code.

Summary of Bill: Certain sections of the RCW are re-enacted to merge double amendments.

Technical corrections are made to reflect correct statutory references and inoperative language is removed from statute.
