Background: As part of the Commute Trip Reduction (CTR) law, major employers are required to develop CTR plans and submit those plans to local jurisdictions. Funding is provided in the Washington State Transportation budget for the administration of the CTR program, and funding is provided for offsets to local agencies and employers for implementation costs.

Summary of Bill: Major employers whose employees commute to a single site or contiguous sites may submit a single joint CTR plan. For purposes of allocating funds, each worksite will continue to be recognized as separate worksites.
