Background: Legislation was enacted in 2004 which required the Department of Health (DOH) to develop an instrument that would allow hospitals to anonymously evaluate surveys and audits conducted by a variety of state agencies. These evaluations can be returned to the department for distribution to the appropriate agency. Results are compiled by the department and submitted to the Legislature.
Summary of Bill: The department is no longer required to provide an instrument to evaluate surveys and audits to hospitals. The report to the Legislature is eliminated.
