Background: The Liquor Control Board (LCB) was created in 1933 to control, manage, and supervise the sale of alcohol in the state. LCB authorizes and oversees the state's 160 liquor stores. Currently, LCB is not allowed to lease for periods exceeding ten years.

Summary of Bill: The maximum lease length for a state-run liquor store is limited to no longer than three years.
