Finds that: (1) Washington employers have work-study internship opportunities available for students in high demand fields; and

(2) Work-study experiences help students gain valuable work skills while also helping them finance their higher education.

Declares an intent to provide a greater emphasis on internships for Washington work-study students in high employer demand fields.
