HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 4673, by Representatives Parker, Christian, Schmick, Fagan, Holy, and Shea

     WHEREAS, Allyson Rowe is a Spokane native, born to Jeff and Debra Rowe, and a sister to Tanner; and
     WHEREAS, From her early beginnings she was introduced to music by way of her parents and brother, and she now has a great passion for music; and
     WHEREAS, After receiving her Associate in Arts at Spokane Falls Community College, she has obtained a Washington State Esthetics License and will go on to earn her Laser Verification from the National Laser Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona; and
     WHEREAS, Ally has combined her passion of music and cosmetology and hopes to start the Esther Generation Foundation, a place where young women and children impacted by the sex trade industry will receive in-depth counseling and learn skills in esthetics, cosmetology, and music; and
     WHEREAS, Through this program, they will be able to move beyond the hardships they faced and regain their self-confidence through counseling and job training;
     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Washington State House of Representatives honor and recognize Allyson Rowe for her accomplishments as Miss Washington, her pursuit in the Miss America pageant, and her desire to improve the lives of those affected by the sex trade industry; and
     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be immediately transmitted by the Chief Clerk of the House of Representatives to Ms. Allyson Rowe.
