    On page 3, after line 9, insert the following:

    "NEW SECTION. Sec. 3. For the purposes of this act, any private law firm or not for profit entity that files a lawsuit on behalf of a governmental entity or who is appointed, employed, or contracted to perform any duty assigned to a prosecutorial authority of a governmental entity shall be considered a special prosecuting attorney subject to the disclosure requirements of this act."

    Renumber the remaining section consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

    Correct the title. 

EFFECT: Provides that any private law firm or not for profit entity who files a lawsuit on behalf of a governmental entity or who is appointed, employed, or contracted to perform any duty assigned to a prosecutorial authority of a governmental entity is considered a special prosecuting attorney subject to disclosure requirements.
