Changes the development of career and technical education courses from those courses with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics content equivalent to academic mathematics and science courses to those courses equivalent to academic courses in English language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, arts, world languages, or health and physical education.

Requires the content of the courses to be aligned with the most current Washington K-12 learning standards in English language arts, mathematics, science, arts, world languages, health and physical education, social studies, and required industry standards.
