On page 1, line 5 of the striking amendment, after "(2)" strike "and (3)" and insert "through (4)"
On page 1, line 21 of the striking amendment, after "(4)" insert "A county, city, town, or district may not choose to conduct an election using ranked choice voting if the cost of implementing ranked choice voting would create financial hardship for the jurisdiction.

Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.
| EFFECT: Prohibits an otherwise eligible jurisdiction from using ranked choice voting if the cost of implementation would create financial hardship for the jurisdiction.
