On page 2, line 18, after "(3)" insert "If a prospective tenant has a balance of rent due that accrued during an eviction moratorium and has not been paid, and the landlord rejects an application for tenancy from the prospective tenant for a lawful reason and the rejection is not based upon the balance of rent due, it must be presumed that the rejection is for the lawful reason.

Correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT: Provides that if a landlord rejects a prospective tenant's application for a lawful reason other than past due rent, and the prospective tenant has a balance of rent due that accrued during an eviction moratorium, then the rejection must be presumed to be for the lawful reason.
