On page 22, after line 13, insert the following:

"(9) A city that is currently meeting its growth targets as determined by a regional transportation planning organization or the office of financial management is exempt from the provisions of this section."

EFFECT: Exempts cities that are currently meeting growth targets as determined by a regional transportation planning organization or the Office of Financial Management from the middle housing requirements.
