On page 9, after line 2, insert the following:

"(3) An independent repair provider that receives a request from a customer to repair a digital electronic product shall confirm whether the product is owned by a public school, as defined under RCW 28A.150.010, and, if so, the independent repair provider must receive written approval from the owner before initiating repair of the product."
