EFFECT:  Removes all provisions in the bill for tenancies covered by the Manufactured/Mobile Home Landlord-Tenant Act, including:

a landlord's requirement to provide between 180 and 220 days advance written notice for any rent increase greater than 4 percent;

a tenant's ability to terminate a tenancy with at least 45 days' notice after receiving notice of a rent increase greater than 4 percent; and

a tenant's ability to recover damages, costs, and attorney fees if the landlord did not provide the required notice for a rent increase greater than 4 percent.
