EFFECT:

Requires that a public water system that considers commencing fluoridation of its water supply must also provide notice.

Requires that notice be provided to customers and to the Department of Health.

Allows for the use of any notification method that effectively notifies customers.

Requires that fluoridation be returned to its prior level if proper notification is not provided.
