| EFFECT: Moves the Domestic Violent Extremism Commission (Commission) from the Office of the Attorney General (AGO) to the Legislature, with staffing provided by Senate Committee Services and the Office of Program Research and all reports published by the Commission rather than the AGO. Changes the appointing authority for the membership of the Commission to require that all appointments be made by a unanimous vote of the Senate Majority Leader, Senate Minority Leader, Speaker of the House of Representatives, and Minority Leader of the House of Representatives.
