On page 9, after line 5, insert the following:

"(3) An independent repair provider may not conduct repairs on digital electronic equipment owned by a public school, as defined in RCW 28A.150.010, if such a repair would void the original manufacturer's warranty."

EFFECT: Prohibits an independent repair provider from conducting repairs on digital electronic equipment owned by public schools if the repair would void the original manufacturer's warranty.
