On page 7, line 26, after "reputation" insert ";

"(4) Repairs not performed by the original manufacturer or an original manufacturer's authorized repair provider may void the warranty of digital electronic equipment; and

(5) A disclosure that includes information about all safety issues related to the replacement of a battery if a battery is installed in the digital electronic equipment during a repair."

EFFECT: Requires the written notice that a repair provider must either provide to a customer or post on its website or at its place of business to include two additional disclosures: (1) repairs not performed by the original manufacturer or an original manufacturer's authorized repair provider may void the warranty of digital electronic equipment; and (2) information about all safety issues related to the replacement of a battery if a battery is installed in the digital electronic equipment during a repair.
