EFFECT: Allows an officer to stop or detain an operator of a vehicle when a license is suspended or revoked for conviction of a felony while operating a motor vehicle, prior conviction of driving while license invalidated, minor who committed an offense related to controlled substances, conviction regarding limited driver's license, conviction of operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked license, conviction of injury to or death of a person or damage to an attended vehicle, conviction or attempting to elude a pursuing police vehicle, conviction for reckless driving, conviction for driving under the influence or physical control of a vehicle under the influence, conviction for reckless endangerment of emergency zone workers, conviction for vehicular homicide, conviction for vehicular assault, conviction for reckless endangerment of roadway workers, conviction for racing vehicles on highways, conviction for leaving children in unattended vehicle, conviction for theft of fuel, conviction for attempting to commit a crime, an administrative action taken by the Department of Licensing for failure to obtain a driver's license, finding of a traffic infraction and suspension of driving privileges, or conviction of a local, state or federal law.
