On page 1, line 7, after "designee" strike "shall" and insert ", if a licensed health professional with the authority to prescribe epinephrine, shall, as is consistent with the exercise of sound professional judgment,"

On page 2, line 2, after "((autoinjectors))" insert ", including, but not limited to, the secretary of health or the secretary's designee in accordance with section 1 of this act,"

EFFECT: (1) Conditions the issuance of a statewide standing order for epinephrine to school districts and schools by the Secretary of Health (Secretary) or the Secretary's designee upon the issuer being a licensed health professional with the authority to prescribe epinephrine and doing so with the exercise of sound professional judgment.

(2) Specifies that licensed health professionals with the authority to prescribe epinephrine in the name of a school district or school include, but are not limited to, the Secretary or the Secretary's designee.
