On page 4, after line 33, insert the following:

"(3) A country may not be designated as a jurisdiction of strategic importance under this section if it has been identified by the United States department of state as being engaged in state-sponsored forced labor."

EFFECT: Prohibits the Office of International Relations and Protocol and the Legislative Committee on Economic Development and International Relations from designating a country as a "jurisdiction of strategic importance" if it has been identified by the United States Department of State as being engaged in state-sponsored forced labor.
