EFFECT:  Requires that guidance on implementing the stand-alone elective on Holocaust and genocide education be developed in collaboration with nonprofit organizations with expertise in teaching Holocaust and genocide education. Requires that implementation guidance and other resources be updated "as needed," rather than "annually." Replaces the term "professional learning" with "training." Replaces a reference to "public middle schools, junior high schools, and high schools" with "public schools that serve students in any of grades 6 through 12." Inserts a cross reference.
