On page 1, line 28 of the striking amendment, after "(e)" insert "(i) The tax in this section may only be imposed on a sale of, or charge made for, the furnishing of lodging of a short-term rental if the operator of the short-term rental property owns or operates more than one short-term rental property.

EFFECT: Provides that the short-term rental excise tax may only be imposed on a sale of lodging if the operator of the short-term rental property owns or operators more than one short-term rental.
