AN ACT Relating to alcoholic beverages; and adding a new section to chapter 66.28 RCW.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

 

          NEW SECTION.  Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 66.28 RCW to read as follows:

          (1) Any place where alcoholic beverages are sold for off-premises consumption shall post at least one warning sign as provided in subsection (2) of this section regarding the dangers of drinking and driving, fetal alcohol syndrome, and drinking while taking other medication.

          (2) The liquor control board shall prepare and make available warning signs to be posted in places selling alcoholic beverages for off-premises consumption.  These signs shall be eleven inches by fourteen inches or larger, with print large enough to be read clearly.
