AN ACT Relating to minimum wage; and adding a new section to chapter 49.46 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 49.46 RCW to read as follows:

          RCW 49.46.020 shall not apply to an injured worker who is participating in an on-the-job training program under a vocational rehabilitation plan as approved under chapter 51.41 RCW:  PROVIDED, That this exemption shall apply only for the first three months of employment for on-the-job training, and shall apply only if the injured worker is receiving no less than four hundred dollars per month in total temporary disability payments as provided for in chapter 51.32 RCW.
