AN ACT Relating to apprenticeship programs; and amending RCW 49.04.070.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

        Sec. 1.  Section 6, chapter 231, Laws of 1941 and RCW 49.04.070 are each amended to read as follows:

          The provisions of this chapter shall apply to a person, firm, corporation or craft only after such person, firm, corporation or craft has voluntarily elected to conform with its provisions.  However, a person or entity which participates in an apprenticeship program shall comply with this chapter and any rules adopted under this chapter.
