AN ACT Relating to veterans' care; and adding a new section to chapter 72.36 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 72.36 RCW to read as follows:

          Upon the death of a member of the soldiers' home or colony or the veterans' home, the estate of the member shall be liable for and any assets of the member at the time of death shall be used to pay the full cost of care provided to the member by the home or colony.
