AN ACT Relating to limitations of actions; and amending RCW 4.16.100.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

        Sec. 1.  Section 5, page 363, Laws of 1854 as last amended by section 29, Code of 1881 and RCW 4.16.100 are each amended to read as follows:

          Within two years:

          (1) An action for libel, slander, invasion of privacy, assault, assault and battery, or false imprisonment.

          (2) An action upon a statute for a forfeiture or penalty to the state.
