AN ACT Relating to special education; and adding a new section to chapter 28A.13 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 28A.13 RCW to read as follows:

          When a child is assessed or reassessed for participation in programs under this chapter, the school district shall request, with the consent of the parent or guardian of the child, the child's primary health care provider to transmit a current evaluation report, if such report is available.
