AN ACT Relating to charter and tour operators; and adding a new section to chapter 19.86 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 19.86 RCW to read as follows:

          All charter and tour operators doing business in the state of Washington must hold payments in an escrow account until all travel and tour amenities have been completed.

          In the event of a cessation of business or failure to provide service as promised, persons affected by charter and tour operator cancellations must receive a refund within fourteen days.
