AN ACT Relating to the Firland corrections center; and adding a new section to chapter 72.01 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 72.01 RCW to read as follows:

          The secretary of corrections shall operate and maintain the Firland corrections center near Seattle.  The level of operations shall not be reduced below the level of operations on January 1, 1985.
