AN ACT Relating to public disclosure; and adding a new section to chapter 42.17 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  There is added to chapter 42.17 RCW a new section to read as follows:

          The  name and address of each governmental entity, other than the office of the lieutenant governor or the legislature, and each corporation, partnership, joint venture, sole proprietorship, association, union, or other business or commercial entity with whom a member of the legislature or the lieutenant governor has an arrangement for receiving compensation for employment during any legislative session on a continuing basis, or has a contract for personal services providing for compensation for any period during a legislative session, shall be reported by the member of the legislature or the lieutenant governor. The amount of the compensation shall also be reported.  The report shall be filed, in a format prescribed by the commission, as an additional part to the report required by RCW 42.17.240.
