AN ACT Relating to assault; adding a new chapter to Title 67 RCW; and prescribing penalties.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.     Any person who, with intent to do bodily harm, assaults a referee, umpire, timekeeper, scorekeeper, or official in connection with any amateur or professional athletic contest is guilty of a class C felony, under RCW 9A.20.021.

NEW SECTION. Sec. 2.     Section 1 of this act shall constitute a new chapter in Title 67 RCW.
