AN ACT Relating to sales and use taxation; adding a new section to chapter 82.08 RCW; and adding a new section to chapter 82.12 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 82.08 RCW to read as follows:

          The moneys collected under RCW 82.08.020 which result from a rate of one-tenth of one percent of the selling price shall be used exclusively for water quality enhancement and management, including the clean up of Puget Sound and the enhancement of water resources.

NEW SECTION. Sec. 2.  A new section is added to chapter 82.12 RCW to read as follows:

          The moneys collected under RCW 82.12.020 which result from a rate of one-tenth of one percent of the value of the article used shall be used exclusively for water quality enhancement and management, including the clean up of Puget Sound and the enhancement of water resources.
