AN ACT Relating to polychlorinated biphenyls; and adding a new section to chapter 70.105 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 70.105 RCW to read as follows:

          Waste cooling and insulating fluids, transformer cores (including core papers), and containers associated with the rebuilding and salvage of electrical transformers and capacitors which contained polychlorinated biphenyls shall be listed by the Washington state department of ecology as dangerous waste within the meaning of RCW 70.105.010.
