AN ACT Relating to sodium nitrite; and adding a new section to chapter 70.54 RCW.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 70.54 RCW to read as follows:
Any food service establishment which serves any food to the public which contains a sulfiting agent shall post a notice in a location clearly visible advising the public of this fact.
For the purpose of this section "sulfiting agent" means one of the following:
(1) Sodium sulfite - Na!bu2!euSO!bu3!eu;
(2) Sodium bisulfite - Na HSO!bu3!eu;
(3) Potassium bisulfite - K HSO!bu3!eu;
(4) Sodium metabisulfite - Na!bu2!euS!bu2!euO!bu5!eu; and
