AN ACT Relating to vehicle licenses; and adding a new section to chapter 46.16 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 46.16 RCW to read as follows:

          At least sixty days before the expiration of a vehicle license, the department shall notify the registered owner of the vehicle of the expiration by sending a preprinted renewal application to the registered owner's address as shown by the records of the department.
