AN ACT Relating to historic preservation on aquatic lands; and adding a new section to chapter 79.90 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 79.90 RCW to read as follows:

          If state-owned aquatic land is located below a nonwater-dependent use, which state-owned land or building on the land qualifies as historic for purposes of chapter 27.34 or 84.26 RCW, rents and fees for the state-owned aquatic land shall be established as if the use were a water dependent use of the same parcel.
