AN ACT Relating to net fishing for bottomfish; and adding a new section to chapter 75.12 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 75.12 RCW to read as follows:

          It is unlawful to fish for or take food fish, commonly known as bottomfish or groundfish, commercially with any type of net fishing gear in Hood Canal south of the Hood Canal floating bridge and in Puget Sound south of a line drawn eastward from Point No Point to Possession Point on Whidbey Island and then northeasterly to Mukilteo.
