AN ACT Relating to hospitals; and amending RCW 70.41.180.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

        Sec. 1.  Section 18, chapter 267, Laws of 1955 as amended by section 26, chapter 213, Laws of 1985 and RCW 70.41.180 are each amended to read as follows:

          Nothing contained in this chapter shall in any way authorize the department to establish standards, rules and regulations governing the professional services rendered by any physician.  However, the department shall adopt rules regulating the hours of labor that may be required of medical interns and residents.
