AN ACT Relating to firearms; adding new sections to chapter 9.41 RCW; and prescribing penalties.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 9.41 RCW to read as follows:

          It is unlawful to sell or offer to sell in this state a toy firearm or other similar replica firearm unless the toy firearm is clearly and distinctively distinguishable from a real firearm.  A violation of this section is a misdemeanor.

NEW SECTION. Sec. 2.  A new section is added to chapter 9.41 RCW to read as follows:

          It is unlawful to sell, offer to sell, or possess in this state a firearm that is not detectable by a metal detector.  A violation of this section is a misdemeanor.
