AN ACT Relating to the retirement benefit to be granted to certain Snohomish county public works department employees; and creating new sections.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, any employee of the Snohomish county public works department who was retired on February 1, 1985, shall have his or her retirement benefit recalculated to include the cashout of his or her sick leave in his or her average final compensation, with the increased benefit being paid retroactively to February 1, 1985.
