SUMMARY:

 

Appropriations for state government operations (excluding highway related activities) are made for the 1989-91 biennium, totaling $20.8 billion. Of that amount, $12.5 billion is appropriated from the state general fund, $312.7 million is appropriated from the Children's Initiative Fund, $60 million is appropriated from the Health Care Access Account and $7.9 billion is appropriated from dedicated state funds, local and federal funds.
