The board's public records shall be in the charge of the public records officer designated by the executive director of the board and shall be located in the board administrative office. The public records officer shall be responsible for the following: Implementation of the board's rules regarding release of public records, coordinating board employees in this regard, and generally ensuring compliance by board employees with the public records disclosure requirements in chapter 42.17 RCW.
