(1) Certificates must be renewed every two years as provided in WAC
246-826-050 and chapter
246-12 WAC, Part 2.
(2) On July 1, 2013, all active certified health care assistant credentials will expire and be renewed as medical assistant credentials pursuant to RCW
18.360.080 and
43.70.280. The department will issue a medical assistant credential to a person who had an active health care assistant credential as of June 30, 2013. No fee will be required of the credential holder for this transition.
(3) The following nonrefundable fees will be charged:
