An individual provider or a home care agency long-term care worker, hired on or after January 7, 2012, must meet the training requirements described in WAC
388-71-0836 through
388-71-1006. These training requirements also apply to individual providers or home care agency long-term care workers who were hired before January 7, 2012, if they did not complete prior training requirements within one hundred twenty days of hire and they want to be reinstated to work as a long term care worker. These training requirements and certification if required must be met prior to reinstating these individual to work as a long term care worker.
