What are behavioral health crisis diversion bed services?

Behavioral health crisis diversion bed services are short-term emergent residential services that may be provided in a client's home, licensed or certified setting, or state operated setting. These services are available to eligible clients whose current living situation is disrupted and the client is at risk of institutionalization. These services are available in all five HCBS waivers administered by DDA as behavioral health stabilization services in accordance with WAC 388-845-1150 through 388-845-1160.
