TERMINATING STATE OF EMERGENCY

I, GARY LOCKE,
Governor of the state of Washington, pursuant to RCW 43.06.210, do hereby terminate the Proclamation signed March 25, 1998, which proclaimed a State of Emergency in Washington State for a unique combination of events that occurred on March 3, 1998, that resulted in the catastrophic failure of the Carbon River Bridge on State Route 165 in Pierce County.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the state of Washington to be affixed at Olympia, this 24th day of September, A.D., Nineteen Hundred and Ninety-Nine.
