]We previously sent you notice of a special meeting of the
board of trustees of Bates Technical College scheduled for May
1-3 during the TACTC (Trustees Association of Community and
Technical Colleges) spring conference (Orcas Island, Washington
at the Rosario Resort). In that letter we indicated that there
would be no Bates board discussions or college business conducted
during the TACTC meetings.However, we hereby notify you that the Bates Technical
College board of trustees will hold a special meeting during the
TACTC conference: On May 2 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. and continuing on
May 3 from 9:00-10:30 a.m. At that time the trustees will go
into executive session to discuss personnel matters. No actions
will occur during executive session. Actions that might result
from executive session will be dealt with during the public
portion of the special board meeting.
