] This is a request to withdraw the Department of Health's
preproposal to adopt a new chapter of child care regulations,
which was filed April 17, 1997, and published in WSR 97-09-054.
This rule was intended to establish Department of Health
regulations for the health inspection of child care centers. The
child care health survey program moved to Department of Social
and Health Services (DSHS) on July 1, 2001. For this reason, the
Department of Health will not go forward with the creation of a
new chapter as intended. Individuals requiring information on child care regulations
