INSURANCE APPEALS

     Subject of Possible Rule Making: Rules pertaining to procedures used in hearings conducted by the board and its industrial appeals judges.

     Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 51.52.020.

     Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: Clarification of procedures, clarification of duties of industrial appeals judges and housekeeping changes to align rules with statutory and regulatory changes.

     Other Federal and State Agencies that Regulate this Subject and the Process Coordinating the Rule with These Agencies: None.

     Process for Developing New Rule:      Agency study.
